Our Team

Our most important asset, beyond the setting and the equipment provided, are our teachers. Their experience and passion for education, together with a close team approach, are critical to providing the very best for the children at our school. We aim for our key teachers to be Montessori qualified, as well as holding extensive additional qualifications in topics such as safeguarding, special educational needs and physical development. All our teachers hold enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificates, as well as Paediatric First Aid Certificates.

Here is a brief introduction to our team:

Miss Rajka

Miss Rajka Originally from Montenegro, Rajka gained her Montessori teaching qualification with the Montessori Centre International in 2009, and has taught and managed Montessori nursery schools in the UK for the past ten years.

Rajka brings not only an expertise in Montessori and early childhood education, but also a passion and dedication to teaching which shines through in her daily practice.

Rajka is also a qualified practitioner in mindfulness for children, as well as an expert in special educational needs.

Rajka has one daughter, a dog called Charlie, and loves travelling, and visiting museums and galleries.

Miss Laura

Miss Laura After 15 years working in environmental sustainability for a multinational business, Laura had a career change to follow her passion for teaching and to join Rocks Lane as her family business.

She completed her teaching qualification with the Montessori Centre International, and taught at the renowned Iverna Gardens Montessori.

Laura is a true local who loves to travel and explore the world; born and bred in West London, she travelled to the U.S.A. for her undergraduate degree, and worked for 2 years with the National University of Singapore. Laura has 2 children, and loves music, art, yoga and most of all, being both a Mum and a teacher.

Miss Nikolina

Miss Nikolina Miss Nikolina completed her teacher training in 2013, and since then has worked in early years environments, following her passion for inspiring young minds and making a positive difference. In her words, she works to achieve “the very best for each unique child”.

Beyond her teaching degree, she has completed a Master’s degree in Special Educational Needs, and has a special interest also in educational leadership.

Originally from Greece, Nikolina enjoys travelling, yoga, music and sharing Greek food with friends.
