About Our Schools

We have two nursery schools dedicated to children from the ages of 2 years old until their reception year of primary school. Children join us for a morning or an afternoon session throughout the autumn, spring and summer terms, with older children able to stay for the full day.

Rocks Lane Montessori was established in September 2018, located in a bright and beautiful classroom next to the main pavilion of Rocks Lane Multi-Sports Centre Chiswick. The classroom opens on to our private garden, and in 2019 we built a nature area where we grow vegetables, dig in the mud, and enjoy forest schooling. We build extra-curricular activities into our sessions, including science and technology, Mandarin, yoga and mindfulness, arts and crafts, woodwork and music.

Ravenscourt Park Montessori opens its doors in January 2021! We are incredibly lucky to be in the park itself, in a beautiful classroom through the park entrance on Ravenscourt Road, which is surrounded by trees and nature. Similar to our Chiswick school, we balance a Montessori education with outdoor learning, and Forest School.

Our teaching passionately follows the Montessori approach, which is based on the innate potential and wonderful spirit of each child. We aim to nurture a child’s confidence, independence and curiosity for their world, and to prepare each child for the transition to school. Our classroom is an ever-changing treasure trove of materials that children are instinctively drawn towards, structured into a core curriculum that supports each area of a child’s development.

Our most important asset, beyond the setting and the equipment provided, are our teachers. The majority of our teachers are Montessori qualified, teaching with incredible experience and joy in being able to play this important role in the lives of the children who are learning with us.
